This project focuses on the interior design of key public spaces within the main building of a Summerset retirement community. The design scope included the community pool, main entry and staircase, lounge areas, and the library, spaces that form the social heart of the centre. The project reflects a sensitive approach to creating welcoming, age-friendly environments that balance comfort, accessibility, and aesthetics. Materiality, colour palettes, and furniture selections were carefully curated to support a sense of warmth, dignity, and community connection, while also ensuring practicality and safety for residents. This project also showcases advanced design and rendering skills, with detailed visualisations used to communicate spatial qualities, finishes, and atmosphere. The work highlights my ability to design engaging, inclusive interiors that enhance wellbeing and social interaction in a retirement living context.
